GEORGIA - Pilot Greg Connell was killed Saturday in Atlanta while performing a stunt at the 2016 Good Neighbor Day Airshow. According to officials the crash occurred at 4:49 p.m. at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. The FAA is investigating
WSB-TV reports that Gary Ward was the pilot flying the other plane in the video. Ward said:
"Greg flew underneath me and I had no idea Greg crashed like a second later. So I pulled off and the plan we had, I came back in the show for the next maneuver. We did individual maneuvers at that point, and I went ahead and did my next maneuver, not knowing that Greg had crashed."
