National Review Online is reporting that "the individual mandate, one of Obamacare’s

the number of young people enrolling on the exchanges “doesn't really matter that much” either.

“The individual mandate was not necessary and it’s probably a big political thing, and that is going to hurt the Democrats because people don’t like to be told what to do by the government no matter what party they’re in,” the former Democratic National Committee chairman said on Monday.

The main rationale for the individual mandate, Dean explained, was that insurance companies supported it as a way of forcing younger people to enroll.
