VIDEO: Man Uses Tesla's Autopilot To Sleep Behind The Wheel Of Moving Car

It's true Tesla's electric cars now come with autopilot but that doesn't mean the driver can take a nap! The video below was uploaded to reddit and shows a man caught on video using autopilot to sleep behind the wheel.

Tesla's autopilot feature requires the driver to be ready and able to take control of the car at any time. The Tesla will emit audible sounds and show visual alerts if the driver needs to take control.

In theory if the driver does not respond the vehicle will activate hazard lights, travel towards shoulder or emergency lane and then stop. But in the video, the Tesla seems to be slowly trundling along with the driver fast asleep.

What do you think?
