New Video Footage Shows Gorilla Holding Hands And 'PROTECTING' Child Before Being Shot Dead

OHIO - In an update to a story we told you about yesterday, new video footage shows the 400 pound endangered gorilla 'protecting' the young boy before being killed.

The Cincinnati Zoo shot and killed an endangered western lowland gorilla on Saturday. A 4-year-old boy slipped and fell into the 400 pound gorilla's enclosure. The gorilla has been identified as Harambe, a 17-year-old. The animal was captured on video below holding hands and carrying the boy around the zoo's enclosure for about 10 minutes.

The child's mother allegedly posted the following statement on facebook:

The zoo's dangerous animal response team was deployed and considered the situation to be life-threatening. The decision was made to use a rifle to shot and kill Harambe the gorilla. What do you think? Leave a comment below.
