VIDEO: Donald Trump Questions Legal Status of Canadian Born Ted Cruz

Is Canadian born Ted Cruz eligible to run for president?

WASHINGTON - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he may raise the issue about fellow GOP candidate Ted Cruz's birth in Canada if the Texas senator begins to emerge as a strong rival.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and until recently held a Canadian passport. Trump made it clear that fellow GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) birthplace would be a “very precarious” problem for the country if Cruz were chosen as the Republican nominee and ultimately elected president.

The Cruz campaign responded saying Trump has "jumped the shark". What do you think? Is Cruz's birthplace a legitimate issue?
