UPDATE: Police now indicate a man shot himself in the foot at Bass Pro Shops

INDIANA - According to police a man attempting to unload his weapon at Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville, Ind., accidentally shot himself in the foot around 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon. Clarksville Police Detective Scott Merchant said employees told the man he could not take his loaded gun into the store Wednesday afternoon.

"When he tried to empty the weapon, he apparently had his finger on the trigger and shot himself in the foot. Handle your weapons safely.Keep your finger off the trigger unless you're going to fire." Merchant said.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. If you have something to add leave a comment.
