CALIFORNIA - During his first two interviews after winning Super Bowl 50, Peyton Manning made a his priorities very clear:
So how much was Peyton paid to plug Budweiser not once but twice on national TV with millions of people watching? A rep for Anheuser Busch (see tweet below) says they paid the Super Bowl winner absolutely nothing... $0.00!
Even though Peyton was paid zero it's important to note that Manning owns a stake in two Anheuser-Busch distributors. So the plug may have been a little self serving after all.
Hi Internet. For the record, Budweiser did not pay Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted that he did.— Lisa Weser (@LisaWeser) February 8, 2016
According to published news reports, Peyton Manning has some ownership stakes in Bud distributorships, which might explain tonite's mentions— Brian Steinberg (@bristei) February 8, 2016
