Gun store owner reveals why he gave up fighting the ATF (Video)

CALIFORNIA - Christopher Cook, of Bakersfield, agreed to forfeit to the United States approximately 3,804 polymer AR-15 lower receivers manufactured in "violation" of federal firearms laws. Cook spoke to ABC 23 and said:

"At no time was it ever a firearm, at no time was I doing anything illegal and at no time should they have been in here and taken my property."

According to Cook the entire incident is the result of a simple clerical error and wrong information given to officials with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives by a former lawyer. The ATF raided his gun store, The Armory in 2014 when federal officials took 3,804 AR-15 lower receiver parts.
