Prank Caller Convinces Burger King Employees to Smash The Restaurant's Windows

MINNESOTA - According to police employees of a Coon Rapids Burger King were convinced by a prank caller to smash all of the windows of the restaurant to keep the building from exploding.

Someone claiming to Coon Rapids Fire Department official said the restaurant was "pressurized" and could "explode". The employees were told to break the windows to "relieve the pressure".

An investigation is underway to determine who made the phone call which police believe was a prank. A string of over 70 highly malicious prank calls involving female strip searches were reported in the United States across 30 states in the early 2000's.
