VIDEO: Disney Employee Defends Guests From Alligator At Splash Mountain

FLORIDA - A shocking video has recently surfaced showing a Walt Disney World employee fighting off an alligator the park's popular Splash Mountain water ride. 

The original video appears to have been recorded in 2009 and you can clearly see the Disney employee striking the alligator multiple times with a pole to protect guests who are only a few feet away. The guests appear to have no idea the dangerous gator is so close.

The disturbing footage raises more questions about the safety of Disney's amusement park after the tragic death of two-year-old Lane Greaves. The child was taken from his parents by a gator last week at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort hotel. If you have something to add leave a comment below.
