LOUISVILLE - A Kentucky inmate was brought to tears this week when a Judge allowed him to meet his 1-moth-old child for the first time. Despite a no contact order with the child's mother Jefferson County judge Amber Wolf made a temporary exception for James Roeder.
Judge Wolf tells Roeder:
"I don’t want you to say anything about your case at all. Don’t say anything. Your lawyer is not present right now. But I understand that there is a chance that you’re going to go back to Todd County, and your baby is a month old, and you haven’t met that baby yet. Is that right?"
Roeder responds: "Yes, maam," and is then allowed to hold his child.
