Michael Phelps Says He Means It This Time...

BRAZIL - On Monday Michael Phelps announced during an interview that he is officially retiring from competitive swimming. Phelps broke the news to Matt Lauer on the Today show saying:

"Done, done, done... and this time I mean it. I wanted to come back and finish my career how I wanted and this was the cherry on top of the cake."

Michael Phelps has represented the United States at five Summer Olympic Games dating back to 2000. The 31-year-old athlete ended his career by winning his 28th Olympic medal Saturday night in the 4 x 100m medley relay. Is this really the end or do you think Phelps will be back?
